Afro Latin band with roots in Senegal.

Afro Tema play original afro-latin, reggae, and mbalax music from Senegal for a sound that is warm-spirited and hugely danceable.

Led by percussionist Makhou N'diaye whose plaintive voice soar like a muezzin over urgent guitar and syncopated hi hats their music transports you to the sandy streets of Dakar recalling the great Super diamono or Youssou N'dour in his day.
