Coldest Night of the Year

On February 25, North Vancouver has something to celebrate and we want you to join us! That's the night people in North Vancouver will join thousands of others in 100+ communities across Canada to support those facing housing insecurity, hunger, and hurt. For our inaugural walk, Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver's goal is to raise $30,000 with the support of 20+ teams and 150+ walkers. We are confident the North Shore community will rise to the challenge. Enjoy the great outdoors at this fun, family-friendly 2km and 5km walk which begins and ends at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore on Lynn Avenue.

You must register to participate. There is no cost to register, but the event is intended as a fundraiser. Engage your competitive spirit by challenging others in similar industries to step up and step outside on February 25!

Habitat Greater Vancouver serves families in our community through building safe, decent, and affordable housing for working families in the low-to-middle income range. We rely on partnerships with corporations, businesses, community groups, and volunteers to build affordably and are growing our inventory of homes exponentially. Building throughout the Lower Mainland, and into the Fraser Valley, HFHGV has a new home planned in North Vancouver (part of the Anthem project on Mount Seymour Parkway) and our largest project to date of 42 units coming to Coquitlam in 2023. Over the lifetime of our current Habitat homes, more than 500 families and over 1500 children will have their futures forever changed.
