Joachiim Cooder

Cooder plays electric mbira and percussion with his bass/guitar/banjo trio, which makes self-described "electro-Congo-Bali blues" music. Cooder played on legendary recordings by Buena Vista Social Club and other records made by his father, Ry Cooder, as well as on albums by Mavis Staples, Dr. John, and Ali Farka Toure.
