What happens if I get caught using a Vpn in the Uae ?

I have been using VPN for a long time for streaming purposes and recently moved to Dubai to find out that the authorities block most VPNs websites and mobile apps and only NordVPN with few others operating there, is it not allowed to use VPN?

  VPN is NOT illegal in UAE.

  The underlining intent on the law is that you do not do illegal activities. -By that logic, anything that's illegal in the UAE (eg: illegal websites, trafficking, bad drug-related, defamation, conspiracy, messing with TRA laws like illegal VoIP, etc) done via VPN is also illegal without a VPN. I think the law basically expands itself on VPN networks, the internet, and offline.
