TV COMEDIAN COMES TO BIRMINGHAM BRAMALL

Bramall Comedy Night in association with Funhouse Comedy starts a New Year of laughter at The Bramall, University of Birmingham.

Headlining will be the compelling and frank comedian and writer, Daliso Chaponda who came 3rd in ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2017 and then landed himself his own stand-up comedy show on BBC Radio 4. Hailing from Malawi, where his father is a government minister he started his comedy career in Canada with the much-admired one man show ‘Feed This Black Man’. With his ability to talk about anything from politics and religion to romance, he amuses his audiences with his distinctive accent and unique outlook on the world.

Supporting is Spaniard/Welshman Ignacio Lopez with his unique brand of sarcastic observations and witty lines. He gives his audience a taste of what it's like to be the outsider, explaining cultural differences with hilarious results.

Compere for the night will be the gently confident Ian Smith, who manages to dissect his material and then elucidate on the response with a unique approach. His impressive wacky lines and funny imagery are a testament to his exceptional mind.
