Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Stowmarket February 2024

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to The Regal, Stowmarket on Thursday February 8th for more fun and laughter.

Topping the bill is Sol Bernstein, a legend on the circuit who has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Sinatra, the Rat Pack, Lenny Bruce and Doris Day. One part Alf Garnett, two parts Mel Brooks, and three parts like nothing you've ever heard. The oldest Jewish comic in the business is a laugh a minute, delivering his lines with acidic humour and chutzpah.

Opening the night will be 'So You Think You're Funny' winner 2021 Omar Badawy, talking about his encounters with strange school friends, football fans and EDL-badge-wearing bouncers, providing unique insight about his childhood moving from Egypt to Wales to Cambridge.

Completing the line-up is ‘Brummie’ funny man Tom Christian joint winner of 2015 Midland Comedy Awards New Act with his wonderfully clever routines and complex and silly wordplay.

Compere for the night will be the quick-witted and likeable Paul Revill.
