What to do in Sofia if I'm new and I have no friends yet? :)

The question might seem to be lame. :) But I have no idea about these things. So what to do alone in the city and how to find friends without speaking Bulgarian?

Also could you please recommend some activities to do alone, till I'm new in the city?
