The Return of Jump the Gun

One of Dublin’s all-time favourite bands, Jump The Gun, are back on the road. And where better to begin there come back than The Purty Kitchen, One of the regular venues the boys played on numerous occasions to a packed audience back in the day. Featuring the original band members of Peter Eades, Roy Taylor and Brian O’Reilly when they rocked Dublin back in the 80’s and 90’s, and indeed, went on to national and international success having represented Ireland in the Eurovision song contest of 1988 with their hit single “Take him home”

Although the boys remained close friends over the years, and occasionally got together to do the odd appearance. Through individual commitments,they never had time to get back together properly…. Until now!

The boys say they’re having an absolute blast and are really enjoying the get-together. Their plan is to continue where they left off, with regular shows and to record a new album next year featuring new arrangements of some of their old original tracks, along with some new ones too! Their current show features many of the great cover versions they performed back in the day with their dynamic sound and unmistakable three-part harmonies. A great buzz and an unforgettable trip down memory lane.

Event Details

The event consists of a 2-course meal. Doors 7.30pm, Food order 8pm sharp, Show starts at 10pm. Price €38.90 per person. Pay €14.00 deposit per person now & settle your bill on the night. Secure payments are made using your Credit / Debit Card or your Paypal account. Ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.
