Münster - a boring place?

I might get a job in Münster, but I really wonder if the place is worth going there. Many people told me that it's extremely boring, but I can hardly believe it with all the students there. What's you opinion?

  Münster isnt boring, Münster is GREEN! Many Trees, wonderful Parks, one of the best public transport systems in germany. do you know that Münster is one of the most environmentally friendly cities of germany? Maybe Münster is not the biggest city, like berlin or hamburg, but it's almost worth to be there :)

  Many of my friends went to Münster, and noone sayin it's boring. It's the way you act, the way you live, get bored? Start something with your friends, and it's over :)

  I'm looking to move to an area in Germany that would be an hour to an hour and a half away from Amsterdam. Munster seemed like it could fit that role. How much is the average rent for a single bedroom per month in this area?

  ..that there is a large majority of female students there..so how could it be boring at all???
