Whether you are looking to cross over to a new style, build up your repertoire in order to play in a folk jam session or just to enjoy yourself, I can help you!
I come from Cork, Ireland and have been playing the fiddle for most of my life. I am an experienced session player, performer and teacher. I have travelled to Newfoundland, Canada with my band "Great Island Fiddlers" and have performed at various popular venues around Ireland. I also have a background in western classical music and so I can teach using sheet music or without (by ear). I take a stylistic approach in my teaching, in terms of repertoire (the jigs&reels etc!!) and ornamentation. I welcome beginners, advanced students as well as classical musicians who wish to try something new and exciting. For more details call me or mail me.
