May 2012, new in Utrecht ?

Hey everyone,

I'm Pierre, 24 from France, and I've just landed in Utrecht to spend some years here. But starting socially from scratch, so if everyone is more or less in the same situation, and want to share a bear / after-work / movie / tour around the city / sport /museum, why not try to organize something ?

  Hello all,

  I moved to Utrecht from California at the beginning of May. I would love to meet up with any of you, or in a group sometime if you are up for it :) I look forward to hearing from you!

  About the meeting why, don't we just meet something like 10 minutes in front of the Café De Maan, gather and meet, and then go to the meetup, and get to know each other and with other people ?

  Hi Pierre,

  ha ha was actually about to suggest that! sounds like a great idea :) Have been to a couple of Meetups already and they are really fun :) If you guys want to meet up before hand that is perfect to spare you guys the strange "I dont know anyone experience". Let me know if anyone is keen to meet up beforehand.

  Looking forward to meeting some of you guys.

  Hey everyone that have answered, and as well to those who haven't :-),

  I'm more than probably gonna go to the meetup expat from meetup.com, on the "Go for a drink the 2nd Friday of the month this time", this friday. Why not gather just before going, and then go to the event ? (just a little easier, to avoid the "I'm all alone going to an event with a lot of people that already know each others"-feeling ?

  (The event is at Café De Maan, at 9.00 PM on this friday)
