Englewood Seafood and Music Festival

The 5th Annual Englewood Seafood and Music Festival will bring good eats...and beats...to Englewood Shopping Plaza, 262 S. Indiana Avenue, on Friday, January 21 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, January 22 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, January 23 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. General admission is FREE.

Choose your foods from a diverse menu of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes all cooked fresh on site by local restaurants and food purveyors. Seafood dishes are prepared using only the freshest local and sustainable ocean resources from the Florida Gulf Coast. Select from a diversity of side dishes and of course - awesome desserts! Liquid refreshment includes selections of alcoholic, non-alcoholic and fruit drinks along with sodas and bottled water.

While immersed in great food, listen to some of Florida's top musical groups from genres such as R and B, blues, jazz, rock and Caribbean sounds. Friday the event starts with performances by: Friday the event starts with performances by: Free Fallin' (Tom Petty Tribute Band), Kara Nally Band (blues, funk, soul) and Damon Fowler (blues). Relax on Saturday to powerful live music by Bryan Spainhower and Friends (Musica Eclectica), Soul Circus Cowboys (Southern rock), Sean Chambers (blues, rock), U.S. Stones (Rolling Stones Tribute Band) and Albert Castiglia (blues). Finish the week on Sunday afternoon listening to the Whole Band featuring Callie Chappell (Americana, rock, variety), Frank Bang (Chicago blues), and Have Gun, Will Travel (funk, soul).
