Rocky Mountain Children's Health Foundation Announces Inaugural Cradling Hearts Event

This event will provide an opportunity to learn how the foundation supports pediatric patients and their families, hear inspiring stories, and honor its community partners and healthcare heroes.

"We have found that pediatric patients and their families have a variety of needs and face unique challenges. Sometimes the need is as simple as getting a cuddle from Posey, our hospital dog at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, and sometimes it's as complex as paying rent before getting evicted. Our partners on the ground, like the Child Life team at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, help connect our resources to families who need us. This event will highlight the essential support that these families receive and the role our partners play in helping make that happen," says Cathy Sandoval, executive director of Rocky Mountain Children's Health Foundation.

The evening will include a cocktail reception, a chance to explore the Botanic Gardens, and a silent auction. As part of the festivities, we will honor the Child Life Team at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children with the first Cradling Heart Award in recognition of the care and compassion they provide to every day.

"We really want to highlight the work that frontline workers have on families receiving care in Colorado and shed a light on the needs that many families receiving care have.
