The Setup- Oakland Edition

The Setup is an underground comedy show in SF and will feature their first Oakland show on July 7th at the lovely Sound Room- the home of Bay Area Jazz and Arts.

The Setup is an underground stand up comedy show voted one of the best comedy shows in the bay area on Thrillist and Timeout!

We feature established comedians from around the country as well as local up-and-coming stars. Our goal is to provide a truly raw alternative experience. After a successful run of shows in SF, The Setup will now start another show in Oakland.

On July 7th, we'll be featuring comedians,
Emily Van Dyke [SF Sketchfest],
Kaseem Bentley [VICE],
Natasha Muse [SF Weekly's Top Comedians to Watch],
Samson Koletkar [SemiFinalist- Seattle International Comedy Competition],
Richard Sarvate [SF Sketchfest],
Abhay Nadkarni [Desi Comedy Fest],
at the Sound Room in Oakland.

The show starts at 8pm and doors will open at 7:30pm.
