Double MOBO Award winner YolanDa Brown, the UK’s premier female saxophonist, makes her eagerly anticipated Australian debut with her national “Love Politics War” Tour, celebrating 10 years in music.

Doo-Bop is excited to have double MOBO award-winning YolanDa Brown, the UK’s premier female saxophonist, performing in the Jazz Bar soon. Also a composer and a broadcaster in the UK, YolanDa will be gracing the Doo-Bop stage with her quintet for not just one, or even two, but THREE fantastic shows on March 17th, 18th & 19th! Her ten-year anniversary tour ‘Love Politics War’ follows the success of her debut album ‘April Showers May Flowers’, which reached No.1 in both the iTunes and Amazon Jazz Charts.

YolanDa has toured with Diana Krall, The Temptations, Billy Ocean, and collaborated with artists such as Snarky Puppy’s Bill Laurance, Reggae Legend Bob Marley’s son Julian, and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.
