I just came to Bahrain a few days ago and I'm looking for a prepaid SIM package. The problem, I only stay here for about 2 weeks and I really don't want to give out my passport copy since a friend of mine had severe problems to proof that he didn't use his phone number after someone else used his personal details to activate another SIM card in his name.
Long story short: after a few month he got an invoice from over 300BD and never used the mentioned number...
