hi. we have our documents submitted for fiance visa in Belgium embassy in Manila first week of oct. and interviewed again first week of dec. we're wondering what is the average processing time for this visa type..we are hoping to get married before our marriage declaration expires feb 10..does anyone here wants to share their experiences re fiance visa? thanks and happy new year!

I don't know what's the reason. My partner in BE is still waiting for the letter or atleast we have an idea why denied. So that we can make another step. Good Luck to you..
And now I am waiting for the email from the embassy here on how and when I can get my documents.
And then re apply again for cohabitation not a visit to friend visa.hehehe..
You may also check yours from time to time.
And let me know what's the result.

It's sad to say, Just now june 2, at 2pm. I had a result.I am denied. !!!
I can't go there..huhuhuhu!!!
Thank you for the friendship.
Hope I and my partner can make other way on how to re apply.what do you think guys?
For cohabitation? is it okay? or any ideas how many months should I re apply?

That's good news. Now that it's on their website, it will be easier for you to know the result. No need to call the embassy. I hope another good news comes soon. ;)

ZD Pardo, Anna Liza, Desert Vixen, and sharlot,I checked my application online, It was arrived just yesterday May 30,and the status awhile ago is ""En traitement"" and when I checked again in a few minutes, it's ""In behandeling"" (hope on friday It will be akkord"")hehehe..

yes I filled up as Manille, and my visa reference number, but still no result yet..(sigh)..I am confident that I am the next one to fly..hehehe..and the next could be YOU..
By the way, you just showed the COE and leave of absence of yours? She did not get it from you?Mine, I wasn't not able to show..huhuhu!!!.. But I asked her if I can still submit,she told me no need..

I called the embassy just now, no result yet.(hehehe)..Hopefully if I were given a chance to visit there, it's only 30 minutes away from Marke to Kortrijk. (According to my special friend.)Hopefully this week or next week there will be a result.

Thanks, Anna Liza. And like you, I'm also very busy meeting my fiance's family and arranging things. Whew! Btw, where are you gonna take lessons for learning Dutch? How are you adjusting so far? Honestly, it was a little difficult for me on the first day. Meeting his family and relatives...cold weather...having to walk quite far (because apparently, they cannot just park wherever they want to. unlike in PH, you take a taxi/jeepney/tryke) and get off almost wherever you like.)... Everything so different from PH. :S And I also had that feeling of being alone because so far, I haven't seen any Filipinos on the streets here in Kortrijk. I feel like I'm an alien. Do you feel the same sometimes? And how about you ZD? :(

Sharlot, you're right about that. Choose Manille and then type your visa number. You may also want to use Google translate for you to be able to easily understand the texts. ;) Good luck on your application.
Felipe, I wish you good luck. I really really hope you get a result soon. Waiting is such a pain! :S

sorry i was always out and about here in diksmuide with our house, spending time with the parents and friends of my fiancee, etc.. in the meantime, with felipe, just keep us updated hopefully by the end of next week, i guess we just have to keep out fingers crossed... goodluck!
