transferring in Norway and finding work

Hi! I would like to have some of your opinions about finding work in Norway. We're planning of transfering in the south-western part of Norway. We have an 8-year old child. The thing that worry me is how much time ii might take me before I can find a job. I am presently working in a call-center that handles emergency calls for public services. My husband will be finishing his wok contract at the end of August. We don't know the language but we're willing to learn it. If somebody else out there can give me an idea of how long it will take me before finding a new place to work will be very much appreciated. We will be willing to accept whatevere job it can be.
