At PK Night's first event in more than two years, Natalie Flowers will tell the remarkable story of her Dutch grandmother's leading role in the resistance during World War 2. Hanneke used her bicycle to transport millions of dollars to resistance leaders before being arrested by the Nazis. She eventually emigrated to the US and settled in Montana.

Natalie will be joined by Montana writer and environmental activist Rick Bass and nine other presenters. Rick will offer his take on a massive logging project in the Black Ram area, the oldest forest in Montana.

Other presenters include Livingston High School student Remy Sexton, who will look at the historical and cultural significance of virginity, and mycologist Larry Evans, who will rhapsodize about his love affair with mushrooms and the huge gift they offer to the world.

In his third presentation for Bozeman PK, 97-year-old world traveler and retired rocket scientist Maury Irvine will describe his voyage to see the re-enactment of a battle between ancient Roman gladiators and panpsychologist Zhiwa Woodbury will present a deep timeline story of humans complex relationship with the natural world. Photo preservationist Seth Ward will show us some of the diverse and remarkable photographs he has chanced upon in his work and Mike Ludin will tell us the story of a special river trip through the Grand Canyon.

Cara Wilder, actor, teacher, director and frequent PK emcee will describe her ambitious and brilliantly successful effort to stage Montana's first semi-professional production of Tony Kushner's Angels in America; alternative medicine practitioner Thomas Schieffer will present on the healing role of touch; and Jessica Dehn and her sons will detail their successful efforts to create a Children's Business Fair in which 10 budding entrepreneurs promote and sell their products.
