I have been a real estate broker in Mexico for 26 years.
If you want to own more than 50 kilometers inland from a coastline or 100 kilometers from a border with the US or Guatemala, then you will acquire title just like a Mexican does. If you want to acquire alongthe border or coast line then you have some extra steps and costs.
