My expertise is in healthcare and food services. I hold a degree in Dietetics from Southern Maine Community College in South Portland, Maine, completed a certificate program in Medical Transcription, and coursework in Information Technology. I also completed the Coaching Adolescents and Teens Certificate Program at the University of New Hampshire. My goal is to teach young people how to overcome obstacles that stand in the way of achieving their goals which begins with a healthy diet. As Food Service Director and Chef for children’s summer camps in both Maine and New Hampshire, as well as a Private Personal Chef for a family of eight, I have mastered the art of preparing nutritious meals that are delicious as well as healthy for children and adults from all over the globe. I have served as the School Garden Project Coordinator at a private school in Newport, New Hampshire where students ages 12-18 learned how to grow their own organic vegetables and develop life-skills that will help them make healthier food choices and become good Stewarts of our planet. My website, “LifestyleEating” and “CookingCoachConnection “ (teaching people how to cook healthy meals without slaving in the kitchen) is all about encouraging families to adopt a lifestyle of healthy eating habits that promote good health. My approach to a healthy lifestyle is not a fad diet but a commitment to adopt a lifestyle of eating habits that include whole foods that taste good and are easy to prepare. I am committed to helping individuals and families to get excited about “eating for health and energy”.
