    I am not aware of Computer Programmer but as per my conversion with one of the senior goverment relationship officer. Saudi Goverment is now restricting entry of people through visit visa. thats why they reduced the time period of stay from 9 Months to 6 Months for visit visa personnel.
    My suggetion is to bring family on Resident Visa, this will cost you more but there will be more certainty.
