Sponsor for what?

What kind of sponsor are you looking for?
Do you need a local service agent (sponsor) for a business you want to start?
Or do you need a sponsor for UAE employment visa?
If you need a local service agent, then it's not too difficult to find one. You can turn to one of the business setup firms or you can find one through the classifieds in the local newspaper (Gulf News). Many sponsors put ads in the classifieds.
Whichever method you use, make sure to sign an agreement with the local service agent outlining your rights in the company and that the local service agent has no rights to the business. This is because the local service agent is like an owner of the company you are setting up. His/her name is in the license along with yours. The court document will safeguard his and your rights so it's important to get one and to read and understand the terms.
(You will need to be in UAE to go through the company formation procedure.)You may also be interested in free zone companies which don't require a local service agent (sponsor) but some people have reported difficulty in obtaining investor visas through this means.
If you need a sponsor for a visa, then I don't recommend getting one by purchasing a visa. This is because it's not easy to get work in UAE. There are too many job applicants and competition is fierce. Additionally, it is not allowed in UAE laws to purchase a work visa. Instead, I suggest you try to find work by sending your CV to employers. Make sure your CV and cover letter are professional and you apply to jobs that fit your qualifications. Another method is to join a manpower firm or recruitment firm. But don't join something that makes you pay them in advance.
Good luck in your search. If you need further advice, feel free to contact me.
