hi. we have our documents submitted for fiance visa in Belgium embassy in Manila first week of oct. and interviewed again first week of dec. we're wondering what is the average processing time for this visa type..we are hoping to get married before our marriage declaration expires feb 10..does anyone here wants to share their experiences re fiance visa? thanks and happy new year!

first, nice to see the trio back on track extending assistance to anyone in this forum, second, i sincerely apologize fo not being active as i was before as Desert Vixen and ZD are all in the same line of busy studying dutch and other extra activities.. plus me and my husband are getting very settled in our house that for the time being does not have any internet; nor cable and nor landline phone.. so if i need to check my mails, i have to go to my inlaws (less 2 minutes walk).. hopefully by january next year we will have the internet and cable in our house..
their were just so many conversations that i missed and i was hurrying up to read them.. katuwa.. yup, this forum is very helpfull.. so spread the word to anyone that you know that has difficulty in finding the answers when applying for BE visa sa embassy...
i pray for everyones success in their applications and keep us update..
todays weather at 7am is 0 degrees.. buti naman medyo tumaas nung around 10am, naging 7 degrees na.. so guys, make sure to bring all warm clothes you can, kung wala, make sure to brief your papas here that you dont have any, para you can both do the winter clothes shopping here...

Hi, ndo NOT mention any opersonal info or adresses. DVZ could read here also.
When you go to the interview, be sure to take someone with you, and demand a transcription of the interview.If you have a lawyer between your friends, take him /her with you.And don't answer private/intimate questions.Good Luck, we keep our fingers crossed.

Ok thank you so much for the information, so now I think I can sleep good about it heheheh without thinking to bring any papers again. Yes my fiance is in Menen and his museum is in Wervik so I am sure we can meet soon there I just hope my Fiancee Visa have a good result. Thank you so much once again I keep post here and I learned a lot here and I am sure to the others also who are just planning and searching information. I just enjoy reading here all the post and I notice it early in the morning here now I need to sleep first.

As long as you have given the embassy all the necessary papers they've asked from you (marriage declaration act, proof of relation, etc..) on your first appointment, then I think you can just bring with you your reference number slip and ID and that's it. I remember on my interview, they even asked me to leave my bag with the security guard before I enter and I just took with me my wallet and a pen. A pen because I have to answer a questionnaire (refer to my blog)... your fiance is from Menen? Wow, that's very near us..yeah sure, hope to meet u here soon! Again good luck..will be praying for u! :D

Yes, it is for the Fiancee Visa I was applied last August it is the landing of my application and on September the call me to report this coming October for the second interview. I was reading your blog but I did not found there if u still bringing a copy of your documents from the landing of your application in the second interview.Do I still bring a copy of my documents during my second interview? Please help me I am just confused about it. heheheheh I hope I can learn and meet you soon there, I think we are just neighbor soon in Belgium because my fiance is in Menen.

I just want to clarify - when you said second interview, is this for fiancee visa? and the embassy called you back or e-mailed you (after lodging your application) for another interview?
