    Of course we all form our opinions based on our own experiences. My experience is that Spain is a disaster in part because of how much time it's wasted on dealing with the languages issues. That creates a lot o problems among the regions, and a lot of waste.

    Now they want translators in congress so each one can speak in his/her own co-official language, never mind they all speak Spanish. Why? divisiveness.

    Of course I'm against having more then English in the US because I don't want to see here what we have in Spain.

    About Spaniards avoiding Latinos, I will tell you that some Spaniards thing that the culture is very similar, others will say that the only thing in common is the language.

    To me, it depends, I see Argentinians as Spaniards, only they are even more party loving I think. Now, take Colombia and I would say those people have nothing in common with us. Especially the women, that's a whole different culture.
