Hello there,
Is there anyone among you that can enlighten me about Cohabitation? For the moment I live in Belgium and with my Belgian partner we will apply for cohabitation. But still the cohabitation procedure will not be finished before my residence permission ends. So between,I wont have an valid identity card for 2 weeks of so. The first rule; they told us, that we have to live in the same address and we do live in the same address but when we have to present our documents and when they see that my identity card is not valid anymore, will it be a problem? if any of u has an experience or safe knowledge, I ll be so glad to be informed.

Hi Ebony , or any one in the forum Please i need advice please can some body help me ? i have been living here in Antwerpen for about 2 years and my Girl friend is a Holland citizen living and working here too . we did sign our samen wonen 3 months ago and yet no reply please how long doese it take for the document to be processed? how long do i need to wait or do i have to call the central loqet my self ??

Why didn't you contact me by email?? On what ground the EU toetsing is rejected, and did you file an appeal??
i don't understand your lawyers argument. I think it is better to discuss by email. Beware you don't have much time to make an objection against refusal of EU toetsing.That is first step before going to court.If there is still time , I probably can help you. And send me the name of your lawyer....

I do not understand that you said in one post Belgium was easier then now it's more complicated.I have a dutch child and my eu toesting was rejected and has to go to court i was emotionnally destroyed to follow i think Belgium should be a better option for me.at the townhall they do not want to register me or my ex just lied it was not possible because of a bsn number.
so i am in procedure since 2 years and that's really destructive. cause i am not having any family.Also i do not understad why they rejected it.because the father is not in the picture?the kid was borned in another european country.then moved to holland has everything in holland.FFist why are they refusing me a staying permit?
my lawyer said now that i stopped the court case before she came with the argument i should then follow the dutch law and aply for VVR that cost 1250 euro with no garanty that i will get it and she advised me to then share the custody.

i have applied for regularisation in Be. and before the 6 months to get an answer i have decided to go leave with my boyfriend the problems i met my boyfriend has so many bouty(fines to pay) and also he had children with her X girlfriend(were not married) and the girlfriend has taken him to court, will that affect my samen wooning because it is 3 weeks and police has not come for inspection, please advise me and contact me on my email please.

send me an email , which country your partner comes from, and in what city you live. I know in The Hague there is a special immigration desk of CityHall, I don't know in other cities.City hall must accept your friends registration, or point out on what ground they won't accept the registration.

Homohuwelijk/ Wettelijke Samenwoonst is in NL en Belgie geaccepteerd.Naturalisatie kan als je voldoet aan de inburgeringseisen,[ een der Belgische talen kunnen spreken] en minstens 3 jaar in Belgie wonen en werken.
