    I am EU citizen and i live and work in alpe d'huez in france.. i recive payment from an overseas employer. I need to register for a (attestation d'enragistrement)

    do i need to make an appointment with the town mairie to register and if so who with.
    I have my passport, french bank account, doctors letter indicating my address. Will i require any other documentation.
    is my document of registration issued the same day.
    is it possible to obtain a certified copy of this document as new zealand immigration require the information for my brothers residency. one of the main reasons i am getting this.

    I am at present on holiday in New Zealand and would appreciate some indication of how long the process could take once i have made an appointment.

    I only have a working knowledge of the french language and would appreciate some assistance to complete this process.
