Hey all...just moved to Trier from the US with my fiance (he's a German native).

I can't speak German very well!!! So I would love to meet some people around my age in the Trier area.

Hi everyone, I'm Nyc, a dual German/US citizen currently living in New York City who is planning to move to Germany within the next few weeks. München to start, since I will be staying with an old family friend there getting myself re-acclimated, and then most likely Berlin, mostly for its vibrant cultural scene.

I'm glad I found this site, since I have a lot of questions about the move that I need help with.

And I need to practice my very rusty Deutsche and if anyone here is in the same boat, feel free to ask and maybe wir kann ich ein an unter helfen mit das, Ja?

    Glad to meet you all.

    Regards,

    Nyc

    Guten Tag - Wie geht's?

I am hoping to move to Hamburg in the summer 2009 with my German Fiance and our 2 children,

dose anybody on the forum know if it would be difficult for me to get work as a graphic designer, I speak very little German and would need to learn, or are there openings for English speakers.

I have 15 years experience and have worked for EMI Classics, Decca records, and many magazine companies - including the hamburg based
    H Bauer.

    Danke

    Mike
