    Health Care

Once you become a resident you will be supported by the healthcare system here. My last doctor's visit was 5 euros and he ordered an MRI and I paid nothing. I have a small co-pay for prescriptions. They have two systems one private and the other "Family" doctor is government sponsored. When I go to my private doctor I pay out of pocket. But if I visit my family doctor I pay a small co-pay and when my family Dr referred me to a specialist I didn't pay anything. Everything has recently changed for permanent residents. I hope that helps.
My pension and investments are still taxed by the US. The laws that regulate this subject can get very complicate and are different from country to country. There are laws on double taxation, you'll just have to do your research.
PS. If you get in my area look me up.
