I have made some comments on where the real progress at NIS can begin. If you disagree and for the sake of the large influx of expats who watch this blog, can the owners, top management or you elaborate on the following:

    1. NIS has 3 branches. What are ages, years of experience and job titles of the 3 principals and the director before coming to Qatar?

    2. What is the mean averages of the staff age and years of experience?

    3. Since the 3rd school started running, how many teachers :
    - absconded work
    - fired/dismissed
    - left on amutual understanding
    - dismissed due to pregnancy
    - had the NIS permission as their sponsor to change jobs in Qatar

    4. Is there a bridging course for non-english speakers

    5. How has the schools dealt with one of its principals displaying drunk-disorderly behaviour (probably an isolated case)?

    6. What were the average salary and fees increases since last year?

    7. Have you had any academic failures and at what grades? Who is the monitoring body for exams?

    8. Do you rank yourself? What are the rankings and what tools do you utilise to measure your success (percetage occupancy excluded)?

    9. Do you have a minimal dress code for the teachers? I have seen that male teachers were ties but a few ladies cannot stay away for long from revealing dresses including one of the principals.

    10. How many directors do you have and what are their roles?

    11. What are the entrance requirements and does it apply to everyone equally?

    12. How do you describe your vaue-added service and contribution to chuildren's learning?

    13. What is the next milestone in your future improvement plan?

Please bear in mind that these questions are in the interest of the general public who are considering enrolling their child at NIS and posses a sober and keen inteligence to differentiate between true info and ....

Equally deviations in answering may be viewed as manipulation tactics. There has been a great deal of dispappointments in some of the info on NIS and with a great deal of interest in seeking the truth I look forward to the above info although my personal views on the management style shall not be changed.

    Thanking you in Advance

    The Seeker
