Work Permit + Job combo South Africa

Hi Babatope,
I work for Initiate Immigration. Jess is right, you ideally need a job offer to be able to apply for a work permit. However there are quite a few jobs out there that offer job and work permit. Have a look on www.languagerecruiters.com The reason why those companies can employ foreign nationals is because they have applied for a corporate work permit as companies. You can then just join their permit, stay and work in South Africa.

You'll have to find work first, and have a signed work contract.

Hi Jess,
I hope you are well. My name is Michael, I am a Freelance Interaction Design of Kenyan Origin.
Was just wondering about the ease with which one can obtain a work visa for South Africa if the requirements are met.
Any information offered will be appreciated.

Hi Nat Schaf
Yes, you can apply for Temporary Residency and PR straight after that, since you are married for more than 5 years to a South African citizen.
Your children and you cannot apply for SA passports until you are SA citizens (apply after living for 5 years in SA after PR). They will require study permits, I presume.
