Why buy?

Buying is a big commitment, why don't you rent until you are sure you want to live there?I have been many times in Thailand (As backpacker and also as a tourist guide). I love Thai people (Thai women, so intelligent, spirited, charming and feminine!). It is really the country of smiles and they even have a word for 'the joy of living', sanuk.
I also wanted to stay there for a few years (Family matters made it impossible) and I talked to several foreigners living there: Living permanently is considerably less fun than travelling there. Getting and renewing your Visa was a bother in my time and working or buying land is tricky business ;-).
