    but remember that some foreigners are also saying it's not that bad in Germany. I am the type of a person who can't stand inequality, whether it's racism, globalism, agism, etc., even if it doesn't affect me directly.

    usually foreigners do experience racism in Germany, but they usually keep it to themselves, until one starts talking about it when they get together, then everybody starts sharing their story! only then you get the whole picture.

    one thing is for sure though. since you already lived a life of an immigrant in the US, you will notice the difference in their treatment of immigrants in Germany, and how bitter Turks are. and one must wonder how they became so hostile, but as they say, when in Rome...
