    @ Y.T.

I’ll elaborate more on your post later when I have more time.
Their government has divided them into groups and pitted them against one another for so long that most would rather scratch each others eye’s out over petty issues that come together as a diverse people for a common good.

Every person is capable to govern themselves to a more or lesser degree.
But the German people have never experienced that because they grew up supervised.
It’s like taking animals raised in zoo and setting them free.
Very few will be able to fend for themselves or make sound decisions independently let alone get along and care for one another at first.
Freedom and personal liberty is not easy when you’ve never been exposed to it.
Most would be looking to establish the next authority to tell them what to do or think.
    Rebuilding the mono culture.
New zoo keepers to bring them the meals on time

    As an analogy
Most want to take a shower to wash of the yoke of stuffing authority but few are willing to get wet.
